Companion animals have become important members of the family, with whom we share unspoken bonds of love, friendship, and care. Over the past 50 years Center Pet has adapted to the many changes and advancements in pet medications and has helped make life easier for all types of animals, as well as their owners. Center Pet is a place for those who want to find better, safer, and more effective ways to medicate and care for their pets.

Kenny Kramm, Owner

Kenny Kramm

Owner and founder of Center Pet

Kenny has over 27 years of experience in retail pharmacy. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland where he specialized in business and advertising. As founder and former CEO of Flavorx (the number 1 behind the counter flavoring system) he spent 10 years researching and developing the Flavorx System. Kenny's love for animals and customer service led him to return to Center Pharmacy where in 2007, he started the veterinary division. He oversees the daily operations, the support provided to customers as well as developing the marketing programs. His care and excellent customer service have earned him renowned praises. Kenny has won numerous business and community service awards including Entrepreneur of the Year from Ernst and Young. Over the years he has shared his house with several dogs.

Harold Kramm R.Ph.

Owner and Head Pharmacist

Harold has over 50 years of experience in retail pharmacy and has owned and operated Center Pharmacy since 1964. Harold received his degree in pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy Western Campus in 1954. He also served as past President of the D.C. Pharmacy Association. He is a fellow of the American College of Apothecaries and a member of the National Community Pharmacist Association. Mr. Kramm was awarded the Bowl of Hyghia, which is awarded to the best pharmacist in each state. He has nearly 50 years of compounding experience. Harold is a member of the America College of Apothecaries.

Larry Goldstein R.Ph. Pharmacist

Pharmacist

Larry has over 33 years of experience in retail pharmacy. Larry received his degree in pharmacy from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts in 1976, and he has worked at Center Pharmacy since 1994. Prior to coming to Center Pharmacy, he worked at several other pharmacies, bringing a range of experience to Center Pharmacy with him.

Dr. Dan Teich DVM

Staff Veterinarian

Dr. Teich graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing medicine in the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 2003. He sees patients at a local animal hospital and makes the occasional house call. Dr. Teich believes in the strong relationship between people, their beloved pets and their family doctor, the veterinarian. He also understands that medications, prescribed through a close client-veterinarian-patient relationship are essential to a pet's well-being. Dr. Teich assists the pharmacists and staff at Center Pet maintain the highest level of quality and service for pharmacy patrons. He misses his beloved Golden, Jacob, and plays with his pet catfish and many canine and feline friends.
